Over the course of time, once bustling and important locations are becoming relics of the past, illustrating the inevitable transition between eras. Photographer Simon Yeung travels around the UK preventing signs of the past from being buried in oblivion. "Photographing abandoned places is my passion and in all honesty has become an obsession. I do a lot of travelling to go to these places," the artist told Sputnik.
